When you think ballgame, you think hot dogs, peanuts, maybe even crackerjacks. USDA dry-aged prime steak doesn’t necessarily come to mind. But in Yankee Stadium, there’s an award-winning restaurant called NYY Steak that serves up the finest cuts, the freshest seafood and an impressive wine selection. In fact it’s so good, even the Yankees themselves dine there. The problem is, no one really knows anything about it. So they came to us.

We knew that in order to spark any interest in potential customers, we’d have to create a site that goes well beyond the nuts and bolts. We would need to tell their story, elevate their brand and give visitors a reason to interact with NYY Steak before they ever even step foot in the restaurant. And that’s exactly what we did.

Of course, we couldn’t really wrap our heads around the project without seeing it and tasting it for ourselves. So after a private tour of Yankee Stadium, (with a stop in Derek Jeter’s locker!!!) and the most incredible steak dinner we’ve ever had in NYC, we became instant fans. And the work reflects it. The new site features easier navigation to content. More imagery of the restaurant and food. A more established look and voice that truly reflects the brand. And, we gave visitors a reason to return – a chef’s blog with menu updates, recipes and information about wine tastings and events. Oh, and we were in Derek Jeter’s locker.
